Our Role in the Project
Our task was to create a scale model that not only represented the architectural elements of the project but also captured the unique geographical and cultural features of the area. The model needed to be both visually appealing and highly detailed to serve as an effective presentation tool for Dar Global.

This architectural model was crafted at a 1:1800 scale, a challenging yet rewarding endeavor that required meticulous attention to detail. The overall dimensions of the model are 2.2 meters by 1.8 meters, providing a comprehensive view of the entire project while ensuring ease of transportation and installation.
Base and Materials
To enhance the model’s aesthetic appeal and durability, we used a fiberglass base with a white lacquer finish. The elliptical shape of the base not only adds a modern touch but also facilitates easy handling and installation. The choice of materials ensures that the model is both lightweight and robust, capable of withstanding the rigors of transport and display.
Crafting the Model
Detailing and Realism
One of the standout features of this model is its high level of detail. Despite the small scale, we meticulously recreated the architectural elements, including the doors and windows of the buildings. The model also features realistic representations of the local geography, with blue seas and green vegetation that reflect the unique landscape of Oman.
Lighting and Effects
To further enhance the model’s realism, we incorporated 4000K warm lighting for the buildings. This lighting choice highlights the elegance of the project and provides a warm, inviting glow that draws viewers’ attention. The internal lighting of the buildings showcases the intricate interior designs and adds depth to the overall presentation.
Production Process
Sample Creation
Before commencing full-scale production, we created a sample to ensure that all design elements and details were accurately represented. This step was crucial in refining the model and making necessary adjustments to achieve the highest quality.
