Description of BASIS International School achitectural model
【Project introduction】Campus architectural physical models serve educational and promotional purposes by showcasing the school’s architectural style and design concepts. The main challenge in creating the BASIS International School architectural model in Guangming New District, Shenzhen, lies in its permanent outdoor exhibition format. The QZY Models’ production team overcame various technical challenges in a short period of time, meticulously addressing every detail to ensure the ideal presentation of the model.
When creating outdoor physical models for display, several technical challenges arise that are not typically encountered in indoor display models. Firstly, weather resistance is crucial. Outdoor models need to withstand various weather conditions, including sunlight, rainwater, wind, and temperature fluctuations. Choosing materials with strong weather resistance is essential to ensure the model remains in good condition over an extended period. Secondly, structural stability is vital. Outdoor environments are prone to wind and other natural forces that can affect the model.
To overcome outdoor environmental challenges, we used innovative techniques like stainless steel materials and fluorocarbon spray painting. This not only gave the model a delicate appearance but also made it resistant to wind, rain, sunlight, and aging. The model now boasts improved stability, durability, and water resistance, eliminating the need for protective covering while ensuring long-term preservation.
The model exemplifies our adaptability and innovation in the field of architectural modeling, successfully meeting specific display requirements and satisfying clients with its professional quality and artistic aesthetics.
